Studland is renowned for its miles of golden beaches, Studland village also has a post office and village store for daily essentials, a pub, a children’s playground, cricket club and a church. With Studland Stables, Sea Kayaking Club and the renowned Isle of Purbeck Golf Course, you'll not be stuck for activities on your doorstep. From Studland there are numerous cycle tours, circular walks, or great running routes too, so if you want to get your heart pumping, and your lungs full of sea air, its just the place. If Studland doesn't have all you and your group needs, family fun and eateries can also be enjoyed at nearby Swanage, a traditional seaside town, complete with twice daily Punch and Judy shows during holiday seasons, boat and fishing excursions from the pier, and the best fish and chips money can buy. Just minutes away is also the amazing and magical Corfe Castle, which can be a short drive, a morning hike, and a steam railway journey to from Swanage town centre.
Within 20 minutes from Studland you can also visit the natural wonders of Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, the beautiful Lulworth or Durlston Castles, market town of Wareham, and of course across the short chain ferry, you also have Sandbanks, Bournemouth and Poole. Brownsea Island is just a short boat ride too, with lots of activities and wildlife spotting all year round.
